What is 2020 Health Solutions?
It is a company created to promote chronic care management as the first step in comprehensive healthcare reform. What does the name mean?
The primary reference is to the year 2020, when the Medicare program is projected to be insolvent and the baby boom generation will be retiring in massive numbers, increasing the strain on our healthcare system. We believe 2020 represents a critical juncture and how we prepare for it will define healthcare in the 21st century.
The secondary reference is to clear vision. While we clearly see the problems in healthcare today, we are more focused on a vision for the future of healthcare. From this perspective, we are positioned to develop innovative solutions.
Is this a home health or a disease management company?
It is neither.
